Andrew Ryan is an award winning graduate of the Violinmaking School of America. He is a member of the AFVBM and worked as a restorer at Reuning & Son Violins for nearly twenty years. Since 2011 he has been making violins in his own workshop in Providence as well as studying the physics of the violin. His work is characterized by a deep understanding of classical methods of making, the practical application of acoustics research, and an exceptional richness of tone.
