Christopher White has been building new instruments for more than thirty-five years. A graduate of The North Bennet Street School, He trained under Ray Melanson, Marilyn Wallin, and Arthur Toman. White gained experience in the workshops of Sam Zygmuntowicz and William Monical before opening his own studio in Boston in 1991. He has served the musical community perfoming repairs and was a regular substitute instructor for the violin making program at NBSS for nearly twenty years. White is a member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow makers and has earned several awards from The Violin Society of America.
