Ole Kanestrom
Norwegian-born bowmaker, Ole Kanestrom, began his studies in bowmaking with Charles Espey before opening his own studio in the scenic Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, Washington. After passing the AFVBM journeyman exam in 2004 he shared a shop with Paul Siefried for a number of years, where he became well steeped in the intricacies of restoration, as well as experiencing firsthand the delightful genius that was Paul. Today, Ole continues to craft bows by hand and eye using the French method in his home studio. Try one, you’ll like it!
