Vladimir Radosavljevic
Vladimir Radosavljevic was born in 1971 in Belgrade, Serbia, where he studied violin for 14 years and attended the University of Music. In 1991, he joined the Teatre T orchestra as a violinist. In 1993, Vladimir moved to the United States and began exploring bow repair, learning from Michael Gerson and working with Jacques Français. By 1995, he was repairing bows for esteemed shops in New York and Connecticut, including for Brice Dupin de St Cyr.
Vladimir transitioned to bowmaking under the mentorship of Carlos Martins Del Picchia in Brazil and Isaac Salchow in New York, building on inspiration from his rare collection of French bows by makers such as Tourte and Peccatte. He returned to the U.S. in 2006, crafting bows for elite musicians and orchestras worldwide. Today, Vladimir creates bows in Savannah, GA, and Belgrade, combining tradition, craftsmanship, and the finest Pernambuco wood to serve musicians globally.
